Rosie – I’m so envious of all the wine tours you’ve done! I first got into wines when I went to Napa Valley a few years ago and, since then, have really only gone to tastings in upstate NY. It’s been so much fun to discover what’s on offer closer to home. But I’d love to experience something…a little different.

Actually, when I started this tour, I found out about a nifty passport program: Visit every single winery. Get your “passport” stamped at each one. Mail it in. You’re then entered into a contest where the winner received a trip to French wine country…a river tour, no less! The hubby and I have our fingers crossed. :)

Thanks for all the support you guys! (Though I’m now worried that my goals are too brazen. Especially number 6. I’m doing my best, though!)

@Nicki: Feel free to send me an e-mail and pick my brain. This is the first book proposal I’m doing for myself, but I used to evaluate book proposals all the time when I was still working full-time in book publishing.

Steph – Can I pick your brain sometime about sending out book proposals? Not for me. I have a friend who has asked for some advice and I am unsure what to tell her.

Goals are so important. By seeing them in writing, you are more likely to hold yourself accountable. By sharing them, others will hold you accountable.
